OUR METHODOLOGY

Editorial Policy

How MensFade turns haircut terminology into practical, transparent decision guidance.

What we publish

Our guides explain haircut shapes, fade placement, guard ranges, maintenance and the wording that helps a barber understand the intended result.

How guidance is prepared

The MensFade editorial team compares established barber terminology, separates overlapping names and structures recommendations around visible attributes: transition height, shortest length, retained weight, top shape and neckline.

What we do not claim

Haircut names are not universal specifications. We do not promise an identical result from a preview or imply that one style suits everyone. A qualified barber must adapt every brief to the client’s hair and growth pattern.

Review and corrections

Material pages display a review date. We update guidance when terminology, imagery or user evidence shows that a description is unclear. Corrections can be sent through the site contact details.

Professional review

Content is currently reviewed internally for clarity and consistency. We do not attribute guidance to a barber unless that person has reviewed it and agreed to be identified.
